LED Edge-lighting
The Samsung UNC7000 features LED Edge-lighting and allows for greater black levels and white quality due to its local dimming capability. These improved black levels allow for sharper, more detailed imagery than ever before.
New level of thin
The Samsung UNC7000 achieves an impressive depth level of 1.4-inches, which makes the system lightweight and easier to move around. The system’s stand can also double as a wall-mount if the user so desires. What’s more, this impressive level of thinness does nothing to comprise the integrity of the UNC7000’s speaker quality or visual performance.
3D capability & 2D conversion
This year’s Samsung UN-C7000 lineup features the ability to convert 2D images from a variety of sources into 3D, all in real-time. As well, the Samsung UNC7000 supports several standards, including: half standard, FullHD, and Blu-Ray standard. The result of this 3D capability and 2D proprietary conversion filter is a vastly improved cinematic experience, regardless of the source content.
Samsung Apps & Wi-Fi Internet connectivity
As with previous Samsung lines, the Samsung UNC7000 and others from the same series will run alongside an application store which can be accessed via the system’s Wi-Fi. This store will feature several applications and other content mediums. Much of this content will be free or open to subscribers, though some will need to be purchased for a small fee.
While Samsung is not the only company active in the development of 3D TV, it has boldly claimed that it will emerge as leaders in its industry. With its touch screen remote, interactive application store, Wi-Fi and ready to use Ethernet right out of the box, the Samsung UNC7000 makes for a well-rounded, multi-faceted entertainment system in the coming era of 3D LCD technology.
